This hotel was good value for the price and the staff was extremely helpful, but it is older and not as well maintained as it could have been.

Horrible breakfast buffet, rooms in dire need of updating (19" TV), exercise machines broken.
The hotel is in a downswing, and needs updating.

Fred, the front desk clerk was amazing. Courteous, helpful and service-orientated.
Room service food, servings were minimum for a maximum price. However, the server was excellent. Polite and courteous.
We were extremely happy with the Red Lion Hotel. The staff were polite, courteous and very anxious to be of assistance. Fred, the front desk clerk was exceptional. Another example of customer service: The concierge noticed a man with a cane approaching the outside doors. He quickly went to the door to open it for the gentleman. No one noticed this act of service (well, obviously I did )but I thought it impressive and clearly demonstrated the caliber of staff at the hotel. The rooms were beautiful and extremely clean. Customer service.
We had a maid walk in our room while we were in there. When I said something when checking out the hotel staff didn't say anything. We felt there should of been at least an "I'm sorry."
